A second study, building upon the methodological framework of an earlier study conducted by agripol for WWF Germany (WWF, 2015), has been published today. The agripol partners Steffen Noleppa and Matti Cartsburg concentrate on the environmental footprint of food waste in Germany. More precisely, the study discusses the impact of wasted food in Germany on the global land footprint and greenhouse gas emissions.
